
Naledi Jackson is a Canadian-South African screenwriter,
director, and producer who was raised in Zimbabwe. She is
currently a Co-Executive producer and a writer for the upcoming
Apple TV sci-fi series, Neuromancer, based on the iconic novel by
William Gibson. Recently, she was a writer and Supervising
Producer on the Apple TV original drama, Shining Girls, starring
Elizabeth Moss, as well as writer and Producer on Outer
Range, an Amazon Studios/Plan B Entertainment drama, starring
Josh Brolin. Prior to that, she wrote and co-produced the beloved
Netflix drama, Anne With an E, for two seasons. Naledi’s short
film, The Drop In, premiered at TIFF and was part of the Canada
Top Ten Festival in 2018 — a platform to showcase the best
Canadian talent at TIFF. The Drop In went on to receive
numerous awards on the festival circuit and was also nominated
for a Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Award. Naledi is
currently working on her first feature film to direct. She is a member of the Writers Guild of
America (West), the Writers Guild of Canada, the Producers
Guild of America and the Television Academy. She is based in
Los Angeles.
