ABOUT

Naledi Jackson is a Canadian-South African screenwriter, director, and producer who was raised in Zimbabwe. She is currently a Co-Executive Producer and writer on the upcoming Netflix series The Body, now in production, and serves as Co-Executive Producer and writer on the Apple TV+ sci-fi series Neuromancer, based on the iconic novel by William Gibson.

Previously, Naledi was a writer and Supervising Producer on the Apple TV+ original drama Shining Girls, starring Elisabeth Moss, and a writer and Producer on Outer Range, the Amazon Studios/Plan B Entertainment drama starring Josh Brolin. Before that, she wrote and co-produced the beloved Netflix drama Anne With an E for two seasons.

Her short film The Drop In premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was selected for TIFF’s Canada’s Top Ten showcase of the year’s best Canadian films. The film went on to win multiple festival awards and earned a nomination for a Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Award.

Naledi is currently developing her first feature film as a director. She is a member of the Writers Guild of America (West), the Writers Guild of Canada, the Producers Guild of America, and the Television Academy. She is based in Los Angeles.
